Terms of Service

By downloading or using LaneSight, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

  1. The Service

    LaneSight is a bowling analytics platform provided by LaneSight Analytics Pty. Ltd. ("we", "us"). It includes the primary app (iPhone and Android), the companion app (iPad, Android tablet, Mac, and Windows), and associated backend services.

  2. Your Account

    You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account or use another person's account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

  3. Subscriptions and Billing

    Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation are governed by the applicable store's terms. Refunds are handled by the relevant store. Add-on subscriptions (such as extra storage) may be billed through our website via Stripe and are governed by Stripe's terms of service. Free tier usage is provided without charge and may be limited or modified at any time.

  4. Age and Guardian Accounts

    Users under 18 must use LaneSight under a guardian account. Guardians are responsible for creating and managing junior profiles. See our Child Safety Policy for details.

  5. Acceptable Use

    You agree not to: use LaneSight for any unlawful purpose; attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the apps; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; or use automated tools to access the service in ways not intended.

  6. Intellectual Property

    LaneSight, its name, logo, and all original content, software, and features are owned by LaneSight Analytics Pty. Ltd. Third-party content, including Kegel pattern data, remains the property of its respective owners. Ball specifications in our catalog are sourced from manufacturer data.

  7. Data and Privacy

    Your use of LaneSight is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Child Safety Policy. By using the service, you consent to data handling as described there.

  8. Disclaimer

    LaneSight is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be achieved from using it. All analysis and AI-generated guidance is informational only.

  9. Limitation of Liability

    To the extent permitted by law, LaneSight Analytics Pty. Ltd. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of LaneSight.

  10. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LaneSight after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app.

  11. Governing Law

    These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Australia.
