The engine

LaneSight is built on a deterministic physics engine that models ball motion from core dynamics, coverstock, surface finish, drilling layout, oil pattern, and conditioner chemistry. The AI layer never guesses. It synthesises physics output into coaching language you can act on. Every recommendation traces back to a specific calculation.
Ball Motion Prediction
Skid length, hook phase, breakpoint, entry angle, and ball shape. Computed from your ball's RG, differential, coverstock, surface grit, and your release characteristics. Modelled on the actual oil pattern and conditioner properties.
Layout Analysis
Pin position, P2P distance, PSA angle, and VAL angle control how the core expresses itself. LaneSight classifies each ball's drilling behaviour, identifies overlapping layouts, and shows where your arsenal has behavioural gaps.
Arsenal Intelligence
Not "is this ball good" but "how does your collection of balls cover the conditions you face." Coverage scoring, gap detection, overlap identification, and specific purchase recommendations from the global ball catalog.
